Roles
Main Menu selection Roles is where roles are managed. Here settings for existing roles are changed, new roles are created and old roles are removed.
Trivore Identity Service has two role classes: built-in System Roles and flexible Custom Roles. System Roles have two permission levels: Admin role may manage, respectively Auditor may only view.
Roles are best understood as defined sets of permissions. Built-in System Roles can be viewed opening menu Accounts > Roles.
Viewing roles and permissions of a user can be done by selecting Accounts in the Main menu, opening account editor view by double clicking the Account or clicking Edit account button and selecting Access tab.
If built-in System Roles do not suit your technical or business requirements, it is possible to create Custom Roles having a different selection of permissions than any of the System Roles. Custom roles are namespace dependent and they can be imported and exported.

Add, Edit and Delete role are pretty straightforward and will perform the selected action.

Export and Import will allow the user to export and import of roles using the JSON file format.

External permissions will show the external permissions given to the role. The external permissions may also be managed here.

Actions which shows a list for executing less common tasks. In this case the creation of recommended roles will be possible.
This Main Menu selection is only available for user accounts with role Role Admin or Role Auditor.
