DVV Muutostietopalvelu Support Module

DVV Muutostietopalvelu (MUTP, "Change Information Service") is a Finnish population register API operated by the Digital and Population Data Services Agency (DVV). This optional module connects Trivore ID to MUTP so that a user's LegalInfo data — the fields backed by Finland's official population register — stays up to date automatically, instead of relying on manual edits or a separate import process.

Configuration​

DVV Connection Profiles​

MUTP service configuration is done through DVV connection profiles, found in the sidebar under DVV Connections. A connection profile holds the MUTP endpoint and credentials, and can be scoped to specific namespaces.

The connection settings cover the MUTP base URL (with shortcuts for the Palveluväylä, production, and sandbox endpoints), the X-Road client header, TLS certificates, request timeouts, and rate limits.

System Preferences​

The most important MUTP configuration lives under System Preferences / DVV.FI: Configuration.

Default connection profile​

Sets which connection profile is used by default for MUTP requests.

Scheduled task namespace scope​

Controls which namespaces are included in — or excluded from — the automatic update task, independently of each namespace's own setting (see Namespace below). It also offers an option to only log the changes MUTP would apply, without writing them, and a limit on how many changes a single update query may return.

Update task log key​

MUTP delivers changes as an incrementing log of events. This shows the latest log key Trivore ID has processed, and lets an administrator reset or manually change it — for example to replay changes after an incident.

Admin tools​

Two on-demand actions for bulk-refreshing data outside the scheduled task: importing users and updating the LegalInfo of an entire municipality, or updating the base info of every user.

Namespace​

Some MUTP settings can be overridden per namespace, in the namespace editor's Features tab — including a separate connection profile and credentials, and whether daily updates are enabled for users in that namespace.

Daily user updates enabled is disabled by default. Enabling it includes users from this namespace in the scheduled update task described below.

Scheduled user update task​

The scheduled task DVV Muutostietopalvelu Updates Retrieval performs automatic updates through the MUTP service, pulling changes for every namespace where updates are enabled and applying them to matching users' LegalInfo data.

It is disabled by default, with a default schedule of once per day at 1:00, and can be enabled under System Preferences / Scheduled tasks.
